Client Policies & Expectations
Clear, premium-grade expectations that protect the experience for every family we serve.
Not an emergency service. Accumula Living does not provide emergency services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
Cancellation & rescheduling
Please provide at least 24-hour notice for schedule changes whenever possible. Late cancellations may impact scheduling availability. Accumula Living reserves the right to adjust scheduling availability based on operational capacity.
Payment expectations
Accumula Living is a private-pay service. Invoices are sent through our secure TD Bank payment link workflow. We do not accept Medicare, Medicaid, or long-term care insurance. We do not collect or store credit card numbers, banking information, or Social Security numbers on this website.
Communication expectations
Each family is assigned a designated coordinator and receives confirmations, schedule updates, and family communications through their preferred channel — phone, text, or email. Most inquiries are answered within one business day. Office hours are Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
Companion conduct
Our companions follow strict standards of punctuality, appearance, respectful communication, confidentiality, and non-medical boundaries. See our Professional Standards page for the full conduct framework.
Transportation limitations
Transportation services are limited to non-medical local transportation support and may be subject to availability, operational discretion, and signed acknowledgement forms. Companions transport within the Greater Tampa Metropolitan Area only.
Severe weather policy
Service availability may be adjusted during severe weather, unsafe travel conditions, or emergency conditions. Clients and families will be notified by phone or text when schedules change.
Holiday scheduling
Accumula Living maintains limited holiday availability with priority access for active clients on recurring schedules. Premium holiday rates may apply on designated dates.
Emergency contact expectations
Every active client provides an emergency contact who may be reached if our companion is unable to confirm wellbeing during a scheduled visit. Companions are trained to call 911 first in any emergency.
Non-emergency disclaimer
Accumula Living is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for medical care, nursing care, or any clinical service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
Non-Medical Services Only. Accumula Living provides private-pay, non-medical companion and homemaker services only. We do not provide personal care, healthcare, medication administration, skilled nursing, bathing, toileting, transferring, or medical services.
